Remote Video Response Centre
Samson Remote Video Response Centre (RVRC) is one of the most advanced in the country. Housed in two former cash vaults with 14” thick walls and reinforced concrete roof, it also boasts ‘penitentiary standard’ electronically protected doors, with anyone wishing to enter requiring pre-agreed clearance.
Our RVRC has been awarded ‘Gold’ status by the National Security Inspectorate and is built to exceed the strict requirements of BS 5979. From ‘The Vaults’ we provide the following services:
- The Monitoring of Intruder Alarms
- The Monitoring of Fire Alarms
- RVRC Monitoring BS 8418 Detector Activated CCTV Systems and other CCTV Systems used in Security Applications
- Remote Access Control
Wherever we are monitoring, one of the first things that we do is register with the local police force to ensure immediate police response.

Samson Security remotely monitor premises using the latest digital technology and transmission systems via broadband and LAN. There are four stages to the CCTV protection service which go as follows:
- Intruders breach the perimeter of the property.
- Motion sensors detect intruders and send live images to the RVRC.
- Professionally trained CCTV operators monitor live images and issue verbal warnings via on site horn speakers.
- Police, security key holders or the emergency services are immediately called to attend.
Each morning our clients receive a full report of any activations that have occurred overnight.
A compliment to security personnel services...
By incorporating the use of pre-determined passwords, instructed by the client, our RVRC can remotely control the access and egress of all premises such as night time deliveries, cleaners etc that would normally require a security officer on site.
Our CCTV system would alert us as soon as a person arrived on site; we would then check their presence along with our assignment instructions and allow them entry with a confirmed password.
The cost savings with a remote monitored system can be as much as 70% compared to the presence of a static officer.
